Construction Details:

The only difficult thing to make on this costume was the holster, but it was a challenge I really liked. I didn't have a teflon foot, but a friend of the family gave me a running foot, which was pretty bad-ass for sewing all that pleather on my weak little Brother. The only other challenge was determining the appropriate ass-to-coverage ratio for my cut-off daisy dukes, which were made from an old pair of jeans from my closet. FTW. Big thanks to Bob for finding my belt for me! <3 The guns in any photos from AX were dubiously lovingly constructed by ACP Evil Overlord Wayne Kaa. The guns from the photoshoot with Lionel were stolen from my brother's airsoft collection/purchased from Walmart and painted by me the day we (myself and Diana) left for the con. They're not as accurate as Wayne's (which were INSANELY accurate), but they're at least Berettas! :D It is good to surround yourself with military/prop nuts for costumes like these. :) So thanks to Wayne, Bob Barker, and my big brother.

Revy is very picky about her choice in armament. She uses a pair of modified Beretta 92F' semi-automatic pistols, named "Sword Cutlass". The barrel is extended (presumably to add silencers). The grips are adorned with the skull and crossed swords Jolly Roger logo of the pirate Calico Jack. It has Thai engraving on one side with the Jolly Roger and the other side says 9 mm Sword Cutlass.
