Construction Details:

So much hand work went into this silly thing. The corset and petal skirt are made of batiks with an overlay of crushed organza to add color and texture. Yes, those are buttons you see on the petal skirt, and those were tediously sewn on by hand (no glue involved!) Wings were also made by me, and that was about 14 hours of trial and error. I did all the little accessories, except the necklace, which was a present from a friend. **THIS COSTUME IS FOR SALE!!**

Personal Thoughts:

I'm so happy with how this one turned out. I was bored at work one day and just started sketching some ideas, but I never thought I would follow through with it^^
