Still got details to fuss at, but mostly done now. Such an awesome series that needs more love and attention than it gets. I am a puffball in this costume, given the multitudinous layers, but a damned fashionable one. XD Materials: plain cotton, hand-dyed cotton/linen, cotton sateen, quilter's cotton, dupioni silk, linen, low-lustre satin, denim, stretch vinyl for the cosplay. The belt and brooches were done with latex-cast resin (my first and only time using that for moldmaking; silicone is definitely less headache), leather added for the belt. Sword is a butchered wooden jian for the blade plus dowel, craft foam, shish kebab sticks, paperclay, puff paint, wood putty, and wood glue, with a scabbard of flannel, wonderflex, and leather. I still need to make the boots and probably redo the wig, but I've been terminally lazy.
