Construction Details:

Mai from AVATAR: The Last Airbender's swimsuit outfit from THE BEACH episode in season 3, with Silver Ruby as Azula. These costumes were so ridiculously easy that SR and I decided to make it on a whim. We made it in one morning, still need to add in the small details such as the border/trim on the waist etc but for the most part it's finished. Some photos in the gallery had to be touched up because we used the same fabric but my costume had to be darker than hers; we'll get around to that later. (Ugh fabric dye) Went down to La Jolla Shores for a quick shoot; came back with a horrid sunburn, but it was fun. I need a Zuko-slave with a parasol and ice cream next time--Mai does not like sun. :B
