Construction Details:: This costume came about because I needed something dressy to wear for a party and thought it would be nice if I could reuse it for a costume afterwards. So, I designed my dress to be similar to some of the robes that Count D usually wears. (He tends to change clothes every few pages in the manga and must have at least a hundred costumes!)

I just used fabrics I already had on hand and didn’t worry about matching patterns or details exactly so it’s not a complete match for any costume in the manga. Ironically, this is probably the easiest to recognize out of all my D costumes though since it’s the most stereotypical of his style!

The robe was made from scratch, including the frog buttons which I did with scrap fabric from an earlier costume. And the black pants were just pulled from my regular wardrobe.
