Construction Details:

This whole costume was made in about two days before I left for Anime Expo in 2007. It's simple, but I made it in such a way that it pieces together in 5 parts. I also handmade the earrings and the gems on the neck and wrists. Yet another costume that I'd like the chance to completely remake someday.

Personal Thoughts:

Ryoko is my favorite animated character of all time. Wearing this costume feels incredible and I'm so grateful for being able to pull together multiple Tenchi cosplay groups with some of the best folks I know. Some of my favorite con memories I have are attached to this costume, and the insane number of compliments I've received on it have been nothing short of humbling. Thank you guys for making this costume so special to me for so many years!

Styling Notes

The wig is a custom-colored Punky XL with more Aquanet in it than a Whitesnake concert. I mounted it vertically against a wall and left it standing for 24 hours to get the curved effect.
