Construction Details:

While at a discount fabric shop, I grabbed a whole bunch of purples, blues, whites, and grays and decided to create a fairy costume. The top and skirt are made to pattern using the various fabrics. The wings are made with 14 gauge wire and organza.

Personal Thoughts:

I made this for Arisia 2008. I thought it would be a good convention to wear and original design to. I just with that there was more hall cosplay at the convention. It was my first attempt at an original design.

These pictures were taken in my backyard by my mom. I wanted to wait till after we got a little snow to take some pictures. It was like 20 degrees out, so I had long underwear on under my nice thick socks. I didn't wear the socks or wig to Arisia, just for these pictures.
