Construction Details:

I made this costume for Anime Expo 2007, but I really didn't get any pictures taken until Halloween. I made three kimonos, the red and the black with furisode sleeves and the white as a basic under-kimono without full sleeves. The flowers on the kimono were made by my boyfriend in Adobe Illustrator, and printed as iron-on decals. We then ironed them on and tried not to scorch them. It was very expensive and it took a long time to do, but the end result was very nice, I think.
