Construction Details:

This costume was the first time i've ever created armor. I used craft foam, since i'd be able to get the shapes i needed with a heat gun. The detailing are foam strips i hand cut myself and then laid on top. Gold rubnbuff was used to color the detailing gold. The dress underneath has hand-embroidery all along the collar, armoholes and the emblem design on the chest. I spent approximately 50 hours doing it, it was my first time doing hand-embroidery so I took my time with it, and hope to improve next time i do it again!



arm warmers and elf booties were made from scratch with a faux suede fabric with this awesome crinkle texture. Then leather cording was used to wrap around them, to keep them in place.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was a killer to make, but boy is it a dream!
