Construction Details:

Favorite Aspect: I made the shoes, wig, and all of the jewelry - as I don't embroider. So, it was a lot of fun to make my own shoes, and to use the only reference picture available to make all of the little details. I was able to have a bit of creative liberty with it.

Least Favorite Aspect: The way the wig is made and styled, you can see parts of the wig cap. >:/ I might have to restyle it.

Hardest Task: The wig. 2 1/2 hours of making buns and spraying them into place, and another hour or so trying to make sure the sticks stay in. The wig is bottom heavy, and likes to fall over alot. And the style doesn't cover all my brown hair (even with a wig cap), but it could look worse, right? (Of course, this was years before I knew anything about making buns and then putting them on the wig separately).

Personal Thoughts:

Sakura is one of my favorite characters, and lately, I've been wanting to make a lot of outfits for her that I've seen. When I came across this kimono, I fell in absolute love with it, and I knew I had to do it, no matter what.
