Report / Summary

The entire weekend was crazy amounts of work.

THURSDAY:
After sewing for most of Wednesday night, waking up and sewing some more, I got to my hotel around 1 PM. (This is including the part where my sister, brother and I almost got hit by a truck, and a bus, and got thrown around between the water main break and all the one way streets). Got some lunch with school friends, and set up the Manga Gamer booth. They put us in a very out of the way location, but gave us a bigger table, so the set-up was quite spacious and gorgeous. Most of the rest of the evening was spent sewing.

FRIDAY:
Got up at 10 and changed into Kotomine from Fate/Zero for the Gen Urobuchi panel, F/Z gathering and autograph session. Made it to the convention right before 12 and saw Michi as Gil at the Aniplex booth and stopped by to sy hi. Got confused for actually working the booth, and ended up just following anyway and helping with the Gen Urobuchi panel. Gay Kotomine/Gilgamesh times occurred. Helped at Manga Gamer. Attended the Fate/Zero cosplay gathering, more gay times. (I was really excited because I really wanted to do Kotomine's command spell, but because of time restraints, I wasn't able to make a tattoo of it -- however, the Aniplex booth was actually doing stamps of all the command spells. Score!) Helped at Manga Gamer. Helped with Gen autograph session, more gay times, and we stole a Rider. Helped with Manga Gamer. Eventually after a bit of rest, changed into Deardrops and helped all my school friends get into their Deardrops costume for our Manga Gamer panel. We looked awesome. Passed out at 3-ish after the panel.

SATURDAY:
Started off with Deardrops costume and helped out with the Manga Gamer booth. Around 4:30, got changed back into Kotomine and helped with another one of the autograph sessions. After throwing off half the clothes and looking like a yaoi doujinshi version of Kotomine, I had dinner with my friends before running off to our Fate/Zero photoshoot. Our photographer had to push back our shoot a bit, so we were able to attend the public shoot as well. There was so many people! And involved a lot of me beating on people or being gay. Our private photoshoot went decently well, although people slowly had to leave and we somehow ended up with the main players for the final fight (Kiritsugu, Irie, Saber, Kotomine, Gil). And we went to a really gorgeous hotel!! After the shoot, we went back to the hotel and chatted, ate fries off floor, and played card games.

SUNDAY:
Chilled as a hipster lumberjack kid. Bought an Akira figurine. Worked at Manga Gamer. Dead.
