Gingi, my fiance (aka Anime_wench), was the embodiment of Buttercup, the fairest girl of the land.

We got the idea to do this costume when I went to my first Ren. Faire. I raided Gingi's family's extra Faire clothes and found a black shirt. Then I bought a sword that I simply thought was cool. After strapping it to my side I realized that I just happened to create something that looked almost exactly like Wesley.

After a little thrift store shopping, we found everything else we needed. It was really quite amazing, one of the bestest costume ever, and all I had to buy was a sash and bandanna...

This is definitely going to be a costume that we use again! (24 Photos Available)" />

About this Costume
Personal Thoughts:
Ok, so this has got to be by far my favorite Cosplay... The Princess Bride is hands down one of the best movies ever created, and having the chance to become the "man in black" was truly a dream come true.
