Construction Details:

The yukata was made from silk and I painted the snake designs on it. The design continued from the shoulders onto the back of the yukata, and I also had the cursed seal as a 3-point mon on the front shoulders and the top center back. The haori was flannel, and I made shoulder length spandex gloves.

This isn't 100% accurate, since I'm wearing a black turtleneck under the yukata. Orochimaru is actually not supposed to be wearing a shirt underneath this particular costume. I ran out of time to make a white skin shirt when I first did this costume, and then I did make one later and hated it, and then I got lazy and stopped caring. I've since retired this costume so it's a moot point now.

I forget what style of wig this was, I just know it was a New Look wig and that I straightened it.

I also made the earrings, but the wig conceals them in most photos. >_< The earrings are a copper sheet core with two layers of enamel over them on both sides. The enameled magatama then hang on shafts of twisted red brass wire that hook into clips.
