Construction Details:

Everything twill! Well the darker end of the pants is stretch denim so not all twill. The pants seem to be formfitting at the hips and then tight at the knees and then of course into exaggerated bellbottoms. Basically an hourglass type pattern. This was custom drafted and fitted for me. The bias trim on the sides was handmade and then handsewn into the pants to account for the curvature on the pants.
The "mariachi" shirt was made of twill. The leaves were all hand cut out and appliqued on separately. The ruffles were painstakingly put in by hand and after two broken needles it finally agreed to stay on. The leaves to placed on according to multiple viewings of Yellow Submarine.
John has an extremely exaggerated large coat, and so his coat was built over an existing winter coat I had made previously. This allowed it to have the sheer volume and bulk. The jacket was made of twill as well to match the other Beatles. Seams were serged down.

Personal Thoughts:

My team picked John for me since I was the most flamboyant of the group -_-. I ended up doing all the voices for the skit because group members either were not manly enough, could not do the Liverpool accent or was not creepy stalker Blue Meanie Boss.
