Construction Details:

THIS COSTUME IS A BEAST!!! EVERYTHING IS MADE OF THE THICK FABRICS :O anyway, im sure im retarded and just mashed this together and got SUPER LUCKY and it came out looking decent. i made the base red pleather coat and then fit it to me. once it was fitted, i took the whole damn thing apart and proceeded to make all of the panels that go on top; his shoulders, back, sides and front. the back i sewed on while it was dismantled, but the rest of it i had to add on after the coat was re-constructed. i made the pants and it was the first time i have ever added a functional zipper 8D wasn't hard, i had just never done it before. now, the holster's were kinda weird just cause i couldn't think of a great way for it to go through the coat LIKE ITS SUPPOSED TO! so, i'll let that be my secret XD and thank you to Gwiffen for giving me AAAAABDOMINAAAAALS!!!

Personal Thoughts:

this costume is a dream come true. i made this cause i've wanted to be Dante for EVER and MvC3 is coming out with this particular costume for him. i don't think i've been happier with anything i've sewn before. also, this coat weighs FUCKING TEN POUNDS!!!!
