About this Costume

- The costume was made out of wool crepe and single-weave cotton, designed specifically so that I could dance in it. I decided to make it when I made the decision to do a modern dance piece for the cosplay contest at Sakuracon 2009, which I and a friend of mine won in the Novice Best Skit category. The buttons on the hat are actual glass buttons, which I do not often see used any more...
