Before I cosplayed, I played it down.
"Nah, I'd never do it"
But every year at every con, looking at all the other cosplayers, I always thought it'd be fun.
But I doubted my crafting skills.
Then my friends and I were thinking of finally doing it. Then Attack on Titan aired.
"This is it. This is what we need to cosplay"
And I made my first ever props, ambitious for a newbie, but I had to: 3D Maneuver Gear.
It was so well received at AX, I got hooked into the hobby, and the slippery slope started there.
As an avid DIY'er, I'm always looking forward to learning new techniques from pros and newbs alike.
I hope to meet many of you and hope you enjoy my cosplays!
